I understand that often, the maternity session isn't just about the impending parenthood of the person carrying the baby, but their partner too. During this maternity session, that took place at a favorite country road location that straddles the borders of Roscoe, Callicoon Center and Livingston Manor, I asked Dad to allow me to photograph him alone. Whether it be for his wife's nightstand or an updated social media profile photo, I love to show both parents that they are worthy of a portrait of just them
