I suppose one of the hallmarks of Lifestyle photography is that we don't really follow any set of rules. With traditional newborn photography, you really want a true newborn within the first 2 weeks of life. But sometimes that's not what you get and that's ok. It shouldn't mean that newborn photos are now out of the question. This momma brought me her beautiful 2 month old. Even with newborns, I don't wait for them to fall asleep, but this little one did, which made for some pretty adorable shots.
