Usually, accessibility is a must when I'm adding a new location to my repertoire, but Alder Lake has to be an exception. Technically in Livingston Manor, the town where I live, Alder Lake is still a solid 25-30 drive for me. But it is a beautiful drive at that. The icing on top, no pun intended, is the ascent up a very narrow dirt road to get to the most breath taking view. The good news is there's no hiking necessary as this location is quite self contained, meaning, we don't have to move around too much to get a variety of shots. In fact, I got all the shots you see below in about 18 minutes (we timed ourselves!)
