Let's get straight
to the point.
You need to know the details. The price. What's included. If I'm even available.
I know this, and I believe you deserve transparency when you're choosing somebody to photograph your family.
Sessions include:

Signature Family Sessions
Perhaps what I am best known for? My family sessions toe the line of lifestyle and documentary - ensuring that we are creating honest but artistic images of you and the people you love the most.
These take place outdoors, at a location we choose together. Could be a property special to you, a public location I'm familiar with or even your own backyard. You can expect your session to last about an hour, which is usually just enough time for you and your people to warm up and forget you're being photographed.
We might choose an activity to keep the kids (and maybe dad) engaged - something meaningful and true to your family. Or we might just wander around and explore.
These are booked seasonally. Below you can see which seasons I'm currently booking, and how to get on the waitlist for any seasons I'm not yet booking!
newborn Sessions
Ahhhh. A new baby. Perhaps the best reason to hire a photographer? I digress. I love newborn sessions, but truth be told, they don't feel too different from my signature family sessions.
It's a whole lot of hanging out, being comfy, ooing and ahhhing over how cute your kid is. Mom chat. You get it. Oh and I'll be snapping away, here and there, sometimes waiting for that adorable yawn that happens whenever you un-swaddle a baby, or for your partner to look at you with adoring eyes as you step into this new role.
My favorite way to photograph newborns is while you're still in the hospital, or when you're settling in at home. Either way, it all starts with reserving your due date - unless, of course, your baby is already here. Then we're going to be going straight away to scheduling an in home session.

IN HOME Sessions
Whether newborn, newish baby, or a house full of toddlers, Miss Rachel and a grouchy tween, in home family sessions are an incredible way to tell your family's story, through pictures.
These sessions basically allow you to bottle nostalgia. In just a few years, you'll find yourself in awe over how much your house has changed, which pets have come and gone, and you'll be taken back immediately to the way things used to be.
In home sessions couldn't be much easier either. No packing diaper bags or getting the kids loaded into the car. Convenience is the name of the game here, all while we create some of the most meaningful family photos you'll have.
You don't need a Pinterest worthy home either. In fact, I have yet to be in one. Your home just has to be yours.
