Cliche as it may sound, it's true that there's never been a better time to host an event in the Catskills and Hudson Valley! A wildly popular destination, not just for New Yorkers, but for people all over the country, incredible resorts, venues and restaurants keep popping up.
If you're an outside of the box momma-to-be, you're probably craving a unique and beautiful location to host your upstate New York baby shower, but you might not know where to start. Lucky for you, I've done some digging to find the best spots in our corner of the world to host a baby shower, so you don't have to!

If you're planning for an all day event with everybody you know, you've definitely got to check out The Barn on Hubbard. Conveniently tucked away from NY-52, you'll have the peace of the country, views for days but your guests will definitely have no problem finding the place! But don't be fooled, this history barn has all the modern amenities you'll need for your celebration. Within its sprawling 4,000 feet, there's a commercial kitchen, a really cool silo bar, as well as two indoor, handicap accessible bathrooms. This venue seems like a no brainer if you're yearning for rustic, farmhouse vibes for your Catskills baby shower.

Maybe you're less Gaines (sorry Joanna) and more Gatsby? Good news! Right in the heart of Jeffersonville, NY, above the legendary Jeffersonville Bake Shop, is the most charming venue for your baby shower. Imagine finger sandwiches, mini quiches and petite fours being served to your guests while you sip (virgin) mimosas underneath chandeliers from the Waldorf Astoria! Of course, even after they've found their seats, they'll be talking about the Art Deco touches in the grandiose staircase leading up to the space. Not to worry, there's an elevator for guests who have trouble with stairs. Event packages at Lulu's include staff, tables, chairs, linens and vintage Knoll place settings. Your guests will be raving about your baby shower for years to come.
